Svenska FN-förbundet,

Thursday, October 9th, 2008

Ogilvy, Sweden took a trip down to Georgia to pick up items for their campaign for United Nations Sweden. The items are now on display in Adshels. Here’s a picture I took on my way to work this morning.

This dress was found behind a deserted factory in Oseti.

At the moment there are attacks on civilians from militia and robbing gangs. There are reports that soldiers are still raping and shooting people for fun. The civilian suffering is not over. It has only just begun.

In Georgia there are 280 000 refugees. To contribute with 50 kr, send a SMS to “FN” on 72900.

Nice campaign. Although I have a small issue with it being close to the old Benetton campaign by Olivier Toscani.

Some more Olivier Toscani work for Benetton

Försäkringskassan,

Thursday, October 2nd, 2008

Ok, a post with brand new Swedish commercials without subtitles. Tough. Consume it like eye candy.

This is a campaign for Försäkringskassan (The Swedish Social Insurance Agency). The apparent reason for the campaign. Copy/paste from Försäkringskassans website,

New rules in Sickness Insurance from 1 July 2008
This is a summary of the new rules and should not be regarded as a legal text on the subject. Please contact Försäkringskassan [The Swedish Social Insurance Agency] for more information.

Time limitation of sickness benefit
You can receive ordinary sickness benefit for at most 364 days during a 450-day period (15 months). This period is called the time frame. After the 364 days, you can apply for extended sickness benefit. If you are very seriously ill, you can apply for continued sickness benefit.

etc. etc.

Changes in the rules regarding the Swedish welfare System that is. Anyhow, nicely produced commercials…
